What is the Digital Eye Chart?

The Digital Eye Chart is a new high tech way of testing eye acuitity. It uses a combination of a laptop or tablet PC and a wall mounted LCD monitor. The doctor uses a very easy to use graphical interface to setup and then administer an eye acuity test. The control screen is on the computer screen in front of the doctor and it shows what the patient is seeing, eliminating the need to turn around to check the patient's responses. The control panel easily adjusts to different types of charts. The doctor can choose from a standard letter chart, to a children's shape chart to numbers and rolling E's and C's all at the click of the button. It also has a red/green feature.

The monitor set up has a much sharper contrast available then the projector. The monitor's contrast can also be adjusted with a simple click of the mouse button.

The Digital Eye Chart is the perfect compliment to any office that is going "paperless". By using the Digital Eye Chart, the doctor now has access to the acuity tests and patient information and patient's digital records all in one place.
